Position: QAPI Nurse, RN (Hospice) â Full-timeLocation: Rocky Mount, NCPOSITION SUMMARY:The QAPI Nurse will work with Administrator and DON to review Clinical outcomes, identify issues and related root causes, and facilitate intervention to correct deficiencies. QAPI Nurse will also conduct training of clinical staff on interventions and quality improvement process.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures QAPI meetings are occurring at each location monthly. Works with Administrators to ensure they are responsible for conducting this meeting and gathering all information. Ensures that each office has at least three RCAs and PIPs associated. Serve as the QAPI expert for administrators and DHSs. Attend one unannounced IDG meeting per office each month and provide feedback with and IDG Exit for SNC, AVP, Administrator and DHS. Ensure all clinical competencies are in place for all assigned partners / regions. Conduct Regional QAPI meeting monthly. Review all new admissions monthly (approximately 75-100 each month). Review accuracy and timeliness of HIS documentation. Conduct Random Monthly Audits for each office; schedule to be determined by QAPI nurse with exit for SNC, AVP, Administrator and DHS and tool to be developed.LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or is a graduate of an accredited / approved RN BSN program. Current, active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice.Multi-site management and/or consulting experience preferred.
